  1. Really nice podcast. It made me realize a lot of things. Maybe the reason why a lot of people still fail is because they don’t set the right golas or that they seem to set far-fetched goals in times that all they depend on is a positive attitude and not really mindful of concrete data. Every action towards success should be based on concrete analysis of concrete dilemmas or stats. Some people don’t even know when and how to honor their limitations sometimes that’s why they tend to fail.

Very nice podcast. It really is a wonder to watch some of those passionate people fail when what you need most to gain success is the passion. Maybe it’s just about setting the right goals, knowing a person’s limits and maybe trying to have more patience in the process. I know a lot of people who want to rush things but sometimes they don’t realize that it still takes some time to be able to have that success they’re yearning for. :)

Insightful, thought provoking, and timely post, especially for me. As I listened I got a great idea to add the missing ingredient of mission to the passion. Passion is like the fuel, or gasoline, but is useless without the vehicle meaning mission! Mission tells your followers what to do and how they can join in. Passion is just you getting excited playing all the instruments in your one man band. People will listen for a while, then get tired of the song. Excellent info.

Enjoyed your podcast. Felt like you were talking directly to me. I’m full of passion. I need to define my mission more tightly. Maybe even set mini missions to achieve on the way.. Great idea! Thanks Stanford.

Excellent idea Jeanie! Setting mini-missions is a great way to keep yourself on track while breaking the journey up into bite-sized chunks.
