Born to BlogI wrote a book.

Over 35,000 words of blood, sweat, and pixels.  I had help (lots of it) from my brother from another mother, Mark Schaefer who co-authored the book with me.

The book is called Born to Blog and it makes the case for universal content creation genius.  Born to Blog’s premise is that you are uniquely suited to blog.  For that matter, you have the potential of being a content creation machine.

You’re probably thinking – “Stan has bit off more than he can chew here.  I hate writing.  I’m not computer savvy.  I get sick to my stomach when I publish a post.”

Well my friend,  you are wrong.  You have the stuff and Born to Blog will give you a roadmap to finding your hidden inner-blogger.

You can pre-order Born to Blog on Amazon today.  Pre-ordering will tell Amazon to send you a copy of the book as soon as it’s ready.

Why Publish?

I started Pushing Social for two reasons:

#1: Show how social media should be used for business  and
#2: Organizing my thoughts with the goal of writing a book

I learned along the way that blogging is the best way to organize your thoughts in preparation for writing a book. About 80 pages into writing, I realized that I needed to fundamentally approach blogging and content marketing a different way.  I scrapped those pages and started ever.

Born to Blog wasn’t my first idea but it definitely was my best.

Mark’s experience, business marketing savvy, and ideas on leveraging influence put the book over the top.

Even now, I constantly reference the book to remind me of my approach and revisit important insights.

I didn’t understand how to teach what I knew until I typed  those 35,000 words.  It was the most challenging and most rewarding project I’ve ever taken on.

Pick up a copy…

As you would expect, I will promoting the daylights out of this book. I want to make sure I keep track of everyone that invest in Born to Blog.  So when you order send your Amazon receipt to [email protected].  I have some cool bonuses cooking and I want to make sure you get to join in.

Pre-order a few copies for co-workers and I’ll do something extra special.  I promise you’ll love it.

So head on over to Amazon and put a big ole’ smile on our face.

Thank you Rockstar.

I listened to your podcast interview with Ryan Hanley last night and it was great hearing your voice and how you speak so passionately about this topic. I’m looking forward to getting my podcast off the ground so I can interview you one day! I was listening while on the treadmill and almost lost course a few times since I was so excited to see what you’ve accomplished and how much I agree with you about the business value of social media, not the airy-fairy stuff.

I can’t wait to read the book!

Stan, congrats. Awesome milestone. I’m a fan of both you and Mark and look forward to digging into my copy of Born to Blog. I hope you follow up on this with a post or five on lessons learned while blogging your way to a book, as this is one of the main reasons I jumped into blogging, as well.
